How To Give

The First Tee of Idaho is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We would not be successful without the generous support of the community through volunteerism, in-kind donations, and financial support. With your help the young people of our community have access to programs that teach valuable life lessons through the game of golf - life lessons that emphasize courtesy, honesty, self-discipline, respect, and skills such as communication, self-management, and goal-setting.

Corporations and individuals can show their support for the programs and young people of The First Tee of Idaho in one of the following ways:

Cash Donation

The First Tee of Idaho seeks the support of generous individuals and corporations to help ensure that The First Tee of Idaho continues to have a positive impact in the lives of the children and families that participate in our programs.  Generous financial support from the community is used to defray the operating costs of The First tee of Idaho's programs at multiple locations throughout the Treasure Valley. Corporate Sponsorship

Our corporate sponsorship opportunities are an excellent way to provide a source of community involvement and volunteerism for your employees that will make them proud to be working for your company. Event Sponsorship

Underwrite the costs and enhance The First Tee of Idaho's fundraising potential during special events. Many of our events provide the opportunity for significant regional exposure to youth, families, corporations, and VIPs. In-Kind Support

Many companies and individuals assist The First Tee of Idaho with in-kind donations of equipment, food, beverages, services, and other budget-relieving items. These donations help the First Tee of Idaho to maximize our revenue and focus our resources on programming. Golf Club Donations

The First Tee of Idaho is looking for donations of high-quality, unwanted golf clubs, bags, and golf equipment. Youth or adult clubs in new or near-new condition are accepted. Adult clubs can be sold for cash to buy new sets of youth golf clubs.

The First Tee of Idaho loans sets of golf clubs to every program participant who can't afford their own set of clubs. As participants outgrow the set of golf clubs loaned to them, they may return the clubs to the chapter and receive another set of clubs that are a better fit for his/her size, strength, and ability level.

If you have just bought new golf clubs and don't know what to do with your old set or you have golf equipment in your attic, garage, basement, or merchandise inventory and would like to donate your equipment to The First Tee of Idaho, contact one of the following volunteers to arrange for pick-up:

Volunteering

The First Tee of Idaho relies heavily on volunteers to help make our programs successful. We welcome people who can help in all areas, including: Coaches, Mentors, Administration, and Special Events. Visit our Volunteers & Involvement page for more information.
