Which class should I register for?
Ages 5-6 years: TARGET
5 year olds must have kindergarten experience
New to The First Tee: PLAYer class
All participants new to the program must register for a PLAYer class, regardless of skill level. Teenagers may register for any PLAYer (10+yrs) class. Experienced golfers will have the opportunity to attempt certification after they have successfully completed one PLAYer class, but most participants should anticipate enrolling in more than one PLAYer class before they are ready for certification. Extremely experienced, older golfers should contact Jon Stein at (208) 938-3411 to discuss their specific situation.
PLAYer Certified: Par
Participants who have completed their PLAYer Certification can register for any Par class. Anyone eligible for certification was notified last fall. If you were notified but did not complete certification, please contact our office to schedule a time.
Already taken a Par class: Par
Participants who have already taken a Par class but who are not Par certified should register for a Par class again.
Par Certified: Birdie
Birdie Certified: Eagle

When and where are classes offered?
Classes are offered mid-April through mid-October in 5 week sessions at Falcon Crest Golf Club in Kuna, Indian Lakes Golf Course in Boise, Pierce Park Greens in Boise, Ridgecrest Golf Club in Nampa, River Birch Golf Course in Star, and Shadow Valley Golf Course in Boise.
How much do classes cost?

| PLAYer (15 hours each) | $85 |
| Par (20 hours each) | $110 |
| Birdie (20 hours) | $120 |
| Eagle (24 hours) | $120 |
Registration fees include equipment for use during class and discounts on range balls and greens fees at programming sites.
No child will be denied access to The First Tee of Idaho program due to an inability to pay. Scholarships are available. Click here for a SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION.
Can I pay for registration through the Tickets Fore Charity program again?
